六甲高山植物園 明るい夏色の花！ 約１,000株の「ニッコウキスゲ」が見頃
六甲山観光株式会社（本社：神戸市 社長：寺西公彦）が六甲山上で運営を行っている六甲高山植物園では、高原に夏を呼ぶ明るい夏色の花「ニッコウキスゲ」約１，０００株の群落が見頃です。気温の高い日が続いたため、例年より１週間ほど早く見頃を迎えています。
ニッコウキスゲ（ススキノキ科）は、北海道、本州（中部以北）の亜高山帯の湿り気がある草原に生える多年草です。関西以西に自生地はないため、群落で咲く様子は貴重です。高さは７０ｃｍになります。花は一日花で、朝開いて夕方には閉じてしまいますが、1本の茎にたくさんの花芽が上がり次から次へと咲くため、約1カ月は花期が続きます。
当園に咲くニッコウキスゲは、亜高山帯型の約１，０００株が見頃を迎え、６月中旬までお楽しみいただける見込みです。その後も高原型の約２，０００株が６月下旬より咲き始め、７月下旬まで咲き続けます。

Rokko Botanical Fair] Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden opens, displaying about 200 items such as photographs of Dr. Tomitaro Makino, who is the model for the main character of the morning drama, when he first visited the park, handwritten calligraphy, letters, diagrams, and books. The 90th anniversary special project "Makino's Footsteps-Discovering Doctors and Plants in Kobe-" has been extended to August 15th (Tuesday) and is currently being well received.
