At Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden operated by Mt. ROKKO CABLE CAR & TOURISM COMPANY (Head office: Nada-ku, Kobe City, President: Kimihiko Teranishi), the unique and extremely popular "yukimochisou" flowers, popular with people of all ages and genders, are now in full bloom.
"Yukimochisou" is a rare plant that is designated as endangered species of Class II on the Ministry of the Environment's Red List. It has gained popularity due to its unique appearance and adorable name that evokes "mochi" (rice cake).
