ROKKO CABLE CAR & TOURISM COMPANY (Headquarters: Nada-ku, Kobe City, President: Kimihiko Teranishi), clusters of skunk cabbage, a flower that heralds the arrival of spring, are in full bloom. In northern countries such as Hokkaido and the Tohoku region, the flowers that herald spring are not called ``cherry blossoms,'' but ``skunk cabbage'' and ``kobushi.'' At Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, skunk cabbage is blooming one after another as the temperature rises.
