Shukune grass is a flower that grows over the years by rooting in the soil and blooms every year. The style of a garden that you can enjoy by combining these flowers is called an English garden.

Odemari blooms with pure white flowers in early June. In early July, you can enjoy roses with small fluffy flowers.

The central area of the courtyard, which is a private area, is a pond. The surface of the water is covered with Junsai, Asaza, and Rhizoma. You can view the pond from any part of the garden. The boat floating on the pond is also a point of view.

You can enjoy hydrangea from mid-July and hydrangea, hydrangea and American hydrangea from late July. On the cool Mt. Rokko, you can see the hydrangea changing colors until the middle of autumn, when the flowers are over.

At the top of Mt. Rokko, you can see the autumn colors of the mountains from around mid October. In the garden, trees such as Ryobu, Koasai, and Komayumi turn red. In addition, wild grass and Japanese pampas grass such as sage daisy and cherry tree are beautiful. Please feel the unique atmosphere of autumn.

In the courtyard, you can relax on benches, chairs, tables, hammocks installed between trees, and a rustic sitting area made of stone. You can spend a leisurely time with books and drinks brought out from the museum library.

A variety of seasonal events are held in the courtyard. We hold hand-rolled organ performances, concerts, and flower arrangement classes using flowers in the garden. This is a way to enjoy the museum.

There are walking paths where you can hear the sounds of birds and the sound of water in the courtyard where birdhouse musical box are installed in various places. In the autumn, the work of the annual "Rokko Meets Art Walk of Art" is also exhibited, and new discoveries are made every year.
