2022年　星谷モモ、星谷マオにより結成

星谷モモの絵画は、”生きている＝感じる”ことをテーマとしています。

両親がタイプの違う2人の画家という家庭に育った星谷は、細密画の技術を高く磨きつつもそれに囚われず、感じることを重視した画創りを行っています。

「鉛筆を用いて描く写実的な人の顔や身体の部位×オイルパステルでつくるラフな色彩の面や線」この対照的な組み合わせを特徴とし、生きているからこその、“感情”や“感覚”を大切に作品制作を行う。

今回の展示では妹の星谷マオが加わり、

モチーフを抽象的に捉え、染め分けた糸をアドリブ的に組み合わせ色彩を生み出していくスタイル、感覚での作品づくりで姉妹での”生きている”を表現する。

Momo HOSHITANI + Mao HOSHITANI

Hoshiya Momo’s paintings have the theme of “living = feeling”. Hoshiya, who grew up in a family of two painters of different types, his parents are not obsessed with the technique of miniature painting, but are not obsessed with it, and create paintings with an emphasis on feeling. “Photorealistic human face and body parts drawn with a pencil x rough colored surfaces and lines made with oil pastel” Characterized by this contrasting combination, “emotions” and “feelings” and “because they are alive” Create works with “sense” in mind. Her younger sister Mao Hoshitani joined her exhibition this time. Her motif is abstractly captured, and the dyed threads are combined in an ad-lib manner to create her color, and her work is made with her sense to express “living” with her sisters.
