Grand Prix prize money increased to 1.5 million yen! Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2024 beyond Open call for works plans will start from February 1st!
Mt. ROKKO CABLE CAR & TOURISM COMPANY (Headquarters: Kobe City, President: Kimihiko Teranishi) will hold a contemporary art festival on Mt. Rokko in Kobe from Saturday, August 24th to Sunday, November 24th, 2024. Art 2024 beyond will be held.
In preparation for this art festival, we will be accepting work plans for the public submission category from February 1st (Thursday) to May 6th (Monday/holiday), 2024.
"Kobe Rokko Meets Art" has been held every year since 2010, and more than 520 artists have participated so far. This year, the 15th year of the event, the name is ``Kobe Rokko Meets Art 2024 Beyond'' and we aim to be an art festival that allows you to enjoy the nature and art of Mt. Rokko, the symbol of Kobe, even more.
This year, we will increase the amount of prize money and production subsidies provided to the winners, increase the number of award-winning works, and support the challenge and realization of work plans with more free ideas.
