Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden A plant related to Tomitaro Makino The flowering of Arimau manosukusa found on Mt. Rokko!

At Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, which is operated by Mt. ROKKO CABLE CAR & TOURISM COMPANY, Ltd. (Headquarters: Kobe City, President: Kimihiko Teranishi), the plant "Arimaumanosukusa" related to Tomitaro Makino is in full bloom.

Arimau manosukusa was discovered and named at Mt. Rokko in 1945 by Dr. Tomitaro Makino, the father of Japanese botany.
At Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, humorous flowers like trumpets bloom during the rainy season. The Arimau mano suzukusa in our botanical garden is currently in full bloom and is expected to be available until late June.
