As the gateway to Mt. Rokko, it connects about 1.7km from Rokko Cable Shita Station to Rokko Sanjo Station and a height difference of 493.3m in about 10 minutes. There are two types of vehicles, "classic type" and "retro type". We drive with a box-shaped car on the mountain side, which is rare in the world, and an observation car on the mountain side.

Station information

Rokko Cable Shita Station, the gateway to Mt. Rokko
A station building with a retro triangular hut design with a large triangular roof. It was built in the same style as Rokko Sanjo Station at the time of its opening in 1952, but since it was washed away by the earth and sand that had flowed out of the mountains due to the Great Hanshin Flood in 1933, the current station building was active as the second station. I am.

Rokko Sanjo Station, which retains its appearance at the time of opening
It retains its appearance as it was when it opened in 1952, and the heavy station building gives it a gorgeous atmosphere and a retro feel from the early Showa period. The Art Deco style station building looks like a three-story building when viewed from the road on the mountain, but it has a modern design that shows that it is a four-story building when viewed from the sidewalk west of the station. It was certified as "Kinki 100 station selection" in 2000 and "Modern industrial heritage" established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2007.
