Notice of suspension of cable car service.
Rokko Cable Car will carry out vehicle construction and facility renovation work. As part of the first phase of construction, commercial operations will be suspended between Shimo Station and Sanjo Station from Monday, January 6, 2025 to Saturday, April 12, 2025 (scheduled). During the suspension of operations, buses and taxis will be used to provide replacement transportation.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our customers, and appreciate your understanding.
Suspension period
Monday, January 6, 2025 - Saturday, April 12, 2025 (planned)
Substitute transportation
・Replacement buses will operate between 7:00 and 20:45. *Some substitute buses may be used instead.
(From 7:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 20:00, buses depart at the hour and 30 minutes past the hour. *There is no 12:30 bus.)
・A Rokko Cable Car ticket is required to use the replacement bus.
・There are limited bus and taxi services available. During peak times, you may have to wait 30 minutes or more for a ride.
・The journey takes approximately 25 minutes one way. Please note that the timetable is different from that of the cable car.
・Please note that due to road conditions and weather, the service may take longer than expected and may not run according to the schedule.
・In the event of bad weather, replacement bus services may be canceled.
